Retirement Preparedness helps ministry families plan for the future with peace of mind. Many who’ve given their lives to service find themselves without retirement plans or long-term support. This fund honors their faithfulness by offering resources, tools, and financial care to help them finish well—with joy and stability.
Many pastors and missionaries serve faithfully for decades without any form of retirement plan. Their income has supported ministry, raised families, and covered urgent needs—but left little margin for long-term sustainability. As they approach their most fruitful years, too many are faced with uncertainty, insecurity, and difficult choices.
Rivergate’s Retirement Preparedness initiative exists to change that.

We believe the Church is stronger when its leaders are supported to the very end of their calling—not just the beginning. As we expand this initiative, we’ll be piloting tools, resources, and funding models that help leaders prepare, retire, and re-engage in ways that honor a lifetime of service.
