Most missionaries and pastors don’t have emergency savings or financial safety nets. A car breakdown, a medical bill, or a home repair can derail their ability to serve. The Jubilee Fund exists to meet those moments with compassion, speed, and structure—so that faithfulness isn’t interrupted by financial instability.
The Jubilee Fund provides targeted financial assistance for:
Unexpected medical costs, from surgeries to specialist visits, can overwhelm families living on ministry income. The Jubilee Fund helps carry that burden.
Reliable transportation is essential for ministry and family life. We help Christian workers replace or repair vehicles that have failed at the worst time.
When housing issues threaten safety or stability—roof damage, flooding, failed HVAC—we step in to prevent crisis and restore peace of mind.
Some needs don’t fit a category—but still deserve compassion. We support unique, urgent expenses that threaten a family’s stability or calling.
Every Jubilee Fund story is verified, specific, and personal. These needs are funded through crowdfunding—much like GoFundMe—and donor-directed gifts from people who want to be part of a tangible miracle.

Any paid staff member or missionary affiliated with the Antioch Movement experiencing a one-time extraordinary financial need (e.g., medical bills, car repairs, housing emergency) is eligible to apply. Expansion to other aligned ministries is under review.
Donors can contribute to the general Jubilee Fund or choose to direct their support to a verified, individual request listed through our giving platform.
Once a request is approved, funds are typically disbursed as quickly as possible following approval, with timing dependent on the need and processing logistics, sent directly to vendors, service providers, or creditors.
Yes. All contributions to the Jubilee Fund are made through Rivergate Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and are fully tax-deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.
Any donations that exceed a specific request are redirected to Rivergate’s General Fund, which supports all of our initiatives. This ensures every dollar continues to serve the mission with integrity and long-term impact.
You deserve to know exactly where your money goes, so here it is.
When someone raises funds through our platform, 7% of what's collected is retained to cover three real costs:
Payment processing (~4%): Every credit and debit card transaction carries a fee charged by the payment networks. This goes directly to our payment processor. Rivergate Foundation receives none of it.
Platform administration (~2%): We use a grants management system to review applications, vet campaigns, and ensure funds reach their intended purpose. This cost is shared across all campaigns we host.
Foundation operations (~1%): A portion of this fee helps sustain the staff who review every application, support campaign coordinators, and maintain the integrity of the program.
For context, this is at or below what most crowdfunding platforms charge. Unlike many of them, we are a nonprofit whose mission is to serve missionaries and church staff in crisis, not to generate profit.
One more thing worth knowing: the 7% is already built into the campaign goal we set for you. You are not responsible for calculating it or raising extra to cover it. The number you promote publicly already accounts for it.
