Many ministry families serve in under-resourced settings without educational benefits, making tuition and academic opportunity out of reach. This initiative removes barriers, preserves calling, and opens doors for the next generation to thrive both academically and spiritually.
Higher education is expensive—and often out of reach for the children of missionaries and church staff. Many families raise support or serve in under-resourced contexts, with little to no educational benefits provided. The Scholars Fund helps protect calling and preserve opportunity by removing financial barriers that hinder students from continuing their education while living out their family’s calling.
The Scholars Fund uses a hybrid model that includes a base award for approved applicants and potential merit-based enhancements. Scholarships range from $3,000 to $10,000 per academic year and are disbursed in two installments—one per semester.

Your gifts directly fund scholarships, providing immediate tuition assistance to qualified students. Donor generosity creates multi-year awards and fuels the long-term endowment strategy.
Yes. We accept applications from students attending accredited schools in the U.S. or internationally. Additional steps may be required for international disbursement.
Yes. Scholarships are renewable for up to 8 semesters (4 years), but students must submit updated documentation each year, including GPA and enrollment status.
The Scholars Fund is sustained by generous donors. Awards are disbursed directly to your educational institution in two payments: one per semester.
A permanent endowment allows Rivergate to provide long-term, sustainable support to students year after year—regardless of market swings or annual fundraising. A $15 million endowment can fund $10,000 scholarships indefinitely, allowing us to invest in students’ futures without placing ongoing financial pressure on donors.
If you withdraw or pause your studies, your scholarship is paused as well. Students who leave school must reapply to be considered again in a future cycle.
You must be a dependent child of a paid Antioch Movement missionary or church staff member (full-time, part-time, or bivocational), pursuing undergraduate or trade school education with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
